Refund & Cancellation Policy

AmandlaSport Connect ("AmandlaSport") wants you to be confident in any subscription you purchase. This Policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for paid plans (Recruiter Pro, Organisation, Sponsor). Athlete accounts are free and do not require payment.

1. Payment processing

AmandlaSport is the seller of record for all paid subscriptions. Payments are securely processed by Paystack, our payment service provider. Invoices are issued by AmandlaSport; refunds are returned to your original payment method via Paystack.

2. 14-day satisfaction guarantee (new subscriptions)

If you purchase a subscription and decide it is not right for you, you may request a full refund within 14 calendar days of the initial charge — no questions asked. This applies only to your first paid period on a given plan.

3. Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period, after which your account reverts to the free tier.

4. Refunds outside the 14-day window

Beyond the 14-day window, monthly subscription fees are non-refundable for the period in which you have already received service. We may, at our discretion, issue a pro-rata refund where:

  • A material defect in the platform prevented you from using paid features for an extended period;
  • You were charged after a successful cancellation due to a technical error;
  • Duplicate charges occurred on the same account.

5. Annual plans

If we offer an annual plan and you cancel, the refund eligibility window is 30 calendar days from the initial annual charge. After 30 days, the annual fee is non-refundable but you keep access for the remainder of the term.

6. Chargebacks

Please contact us before raising a chargeback with your bank. We will work with you to resolve any billing issue quickly. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in suspension of the account and recovery of fees.

7. How to request a refund

Email info@amandlasport.com from the email address on your account, including your AmandlaSport invoice reference or Paystack transaction reference. We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days.

8. Statutory rights

Nothing in this Policy limits your rights as a consumer under the South African Consumer Protection Act, 2008 or, where applicable, the EU Consumer Rights Directive.
